Meet the Team: Luke, Operations Manager at Redwood
At Redwood, it’s the people behind the business who help keep everything moving. We’re introducing Luke, our Operations Manager, who has been part of the Redwood team for the past two years.
From supporting customers and processing orders to overseeing health & safety and ISO requirements, Luke’s role is varied to say the least. But his career and life before Redwood has been just as interesting.
From the UK to Australia, New York and the US Marines
Luke’s journey before Redwood has been an interesting one. His family emigrated to Australia when he was four before moving to New York a year later. At 18, Luke joined the US Marines while still a UK citizen – something that apparently earned him a few interesting nicknames along the way and none of which we can share here! After leaving the Marines, Luke returned to the UK in 2010.
Finding His Way to Redwood
Before joining Redwood, Luke worked across both the leisure and retail sectors. After spending time in these industries, he was ready for a change of pace and a new challenge. Redwood stood out because of the company’s ambition and genuine passion for growth.
Two years later, Luke has become an important part of the team and plays a key role in keeping the day-to-day operation of the business running smoothly.
